Calling all history buffs! The famous, 1763 home, of Captain William Coit, has officially hit the market for the first time in decades! Capt. William Coit was a fervent patriot who served on many committees and commanded several ships during the Revolutionary War. This Nationally and State recognized, historical, home comes packed with rich stories such as Benedict Arnold in the house around the time of the Raid of New London in 1781, that burned so much of the town. If you look closely at the street signs on the corner you can see another significant homage to the home with the outline of the William Coit House on the top. This home is a treasured piece of New London.
