Raised on New England's shoreline, Joseph lived and worked in places such as Alaska, Georgia, and New York City before returning home to Niantic, Connecticut, where his best adventures happen with his wife and children. As he puts it, "There are beautiful homes all over the world, but I want my kids to grow up the way I did—summers on the water, salt in the air, small shoreline towns. That's not something I'd trade for anywhere else."
A background in carpentry and small construction gave Joseph an appreciation for strong foundations—in homes and relationships. Recognizing where the market was headed, he graduated from Georgetown's Social Media Program and served as an Innovative Strategist for the Air and Army National Guard. He also prides himself on building and mastering modern tools that cut through fluff to find facts.
Known for his unconventional thinking, Joseph finds solutions where others see obstacles. He once turned a coffee craving into a business: finding no café nearby, he ran a market analysis, built a business plan, and convinced his sibling to open a coffee shop. It took 2nd place in The Day's "Best Of" Awards for Best Coffee Café in Southeastern Connecticut—all while still serving in the military.
