PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN GROTON

The Groton school system is served by the Groton School District which has approximately 5000 total students and maintains ten public schools. Elementary school students attend at Charles Barnum Elementary School (Pre-Kindergarten to 5th grade), S.B. Butler Elementary School (Pre-Kindergarten to 5th grade), Claude Chester Elementary School (Pre-Kindergarten to 5th grade), Mary Morrison Elementary School (Kindergarten to 5th grade), Northeast Academy Elementary School (Kindergarten to 5th grade), Pleasant Valley Elementary School (Kindergarten to 5th grade), or Catherine Kolnaski Magnet School (Kindergarten to 5th grade). Middle school students attend Carl C. Cutler Middle School (6th to 8th grade), Robert E. Fitch Middle School (6th to 8th grade), or West Side Middle School (6th to 8th grade). High school students attend Robert E. Fitch High School (9th to 12th grade), Ella T. Grasso Southeastern Technical High School (9th to 12th grade) part of CT Tech High School System, or Marine Science Magnet High School (9th to 12th grade) part of LEARN School District.
